The intricate surface of the Follia Tondo Stool, adorned with a rich brown patina, is first sculpted in wax, then cast using the centuries-old lost-wax technique. In this process, molten metal is poured into a mold created around the wax model, which melts away and disappears, leaving behind a unique and finely detailed bronze form.
