Taylan Aygün

Kilim « Tree of Life »

Conceiving a time where an anthropogenic evolution has mutated our flora and fauna, the artist embarks the viewer on a journey where this new herbaceous surrealism exists in an idealist and colourful virtuality. For his first attempt to shape his imaginary garden, Taylan Aygün sourced back into his Turkish heritage, and worked with a small group of Anatolian craftswomen based in Uşak, Türkiye.
